For accredited representatives
Your clients arrive with the letter already read.
ServiceRecord is a plain-language intake tool veterans and survivors can use before they reach your desk. It decodes the VA letter in front of them, finds every deadline with a citation, and hands every representation judgment back to you. Your intake gets shorter and your clients arrive calmer; nobody here represents anyone.
What the veteran brings you
What the Letter Says
Each decision point, granted, denied, deferred or reduced, decoded into plain language with the exact quoted fragment and its location in the letter.
Every Deadline, Grounded
Response and appeal windows pulled straight from the letter. Where the letter prints a calendar date, the veteran sees it; where it only prints a window (“within one year”), that window is shown as the basis and nothing is computed.
Evidence and Gaps Named
What the letter says VA weighed, and the gaps the letter itself names, so your first conversation starts from the record.
An Organized Prep Pack
An optional $25 worksheet that lays all of the above out point by point, which the veteran can hand you to shorten intake. It prepares them for your help and never drafts the appeal.
It defers to you by design
The four questions veterans most want answered are the ones that constitute representation. On each, the tool shows the client why it won't answer and that an accredited representative can, and routes them to free VSO and county help on every result.
Which review lane to pick
Higher-Level Review, Supplemental Claim or Board appeal is representation judgment; it turns on evidence, denial reason and timing. The tool explains each lane side by side and stops.
What rating applies
Applying the rating schedule to medical evidence is adjudication. The tool reports the percentage the letter prints and never predicts one.
How much back pay
Entitlement depends on effective dates, dependency, rate tables and offsets that one letter does not state. The tool declines the estimate and points to you or the VA.
Whether a reduction will happen
A proposed reduction is not final and carries its own protections. The tool decodes the proposal and its response windows, and the outcome call is yours.
What it costs your clients
- The decode is free, for everyone, always, and identical whether or not they ever pay.
- Never a percentage of benefits. The one paid item is a flat $25 Prep Pack, with no retainer, no subscription and no cut of back pay.
- No referral fees, in or out. We pay nothing to be recommended and take nothing for recommending you. The VSOs, county offices and VA accreditation search we list pay us nothing.
- No document storage. Letters are read once, in memory, and discarded, with no account and no training on client data.
This is not a referral scheme
We don't sell leads, we don't track which office a veteran came from, and we don't know who recommended us. Sharing ServiceRecord with your clients creates no relationship, no obligation and no data trail back to you. It is a free public tool that routes people toward accredited help, yours included.
Using it with clients
1
Share the Link
Point clients to ServiceRecord before their appointment. No account, nothing to install, and it works on a phone.
2
They Decode the Letter
Free, in a couple of minutes. They read what it says and see the deadline before they reach you.
3
They Bring the Prep Pack
Optional, $25, organized. Your intake starts from a structured summary instead of a stack of paper.
County offices & bulk materials
If you run a county veterans service office or a VSO chapter and want a one-pager for your intake area, or want to talk through how clients are using the tool, we'd like the conversation, especially about where the plain-language decode helps and where it should defer harder.
